  • Menu – 4×3 or 16×9

In designing a menu for a SD disk with a widescreen anamorphic feature, should the menu be 4×3 or 16×9? Customer agrees that the letterboxing of the feature is “good” on 4×3, but wants the menu full sized. If the menu is 16×9, it will automatically letterbox if played on a 4×3 setup. If 4×3, it will pillar box on a 16×9 setup. Right? So we have to choose?
