I’m a newbie at using Power Point and creating videos and DVDs, and I hope I’m posting this to the right forum. Here is my question: How do I create a QuickTime movie from a PP presentation? My end goal is to save it onto a DVD. Or would I purchase software (which one) to convert a PP presentation to a format that I can save onto a DVD? I have a PP presentation I already created and need to make sure the audio (MP3) files also transfer with the presentation. Thanks for your help.

I would do a Save As out of PowerPoint and save all slides as JPEG or Tiffs. I would make sure everything fit into title safe for video, make colors NTSC safe and bring everything into and NLE. Same with the audio tracks…Then I would cut togegher all the slides, make some transitions and encod for DVD.

The problem with most PPTs is that they have type that is usually out of title safe and colors that are illegal for video.
