  • Multi image buttons ?

    Hi,

I need to solve, or just know, if this is possible 🙂
I have dvd menu with image buttons. I have one image (grayscales) for nonactive button (default view). When I hover or select button, I need to show full-colored version of this image. Is this possible to make ? I tried this in DVD architect and Adobe Encore DVD, but no I have not succeed :(((

Does anybody know how to deal with this ?

Thx for any idea or solution…

You need to make multiple versions of the menu art, one for each button. Each version has a different button in color with the others monochrome. You then program the buttons to auto activate so that as you navigate to a monochrome button, it jumps to the menu version with the color button. The color button then jumps whereever it needs to when activated.

This type of menu navigation does not work on software DVD players because those have the auto activate function disabled.

This process can work with some software players as long as you use the arrow-navigation buttons (i.e. instead of using the mouse-over pointer — use the left/right/up/down arrows to navigate the menu).
