    hi all,

i have a dance recital that is 2 hours and 25 minutes
i know that the quality will suffer
but what i tried to do was use sorenson squeeze to compress the movie down.
i used a 352×480 ratio based off of my research on this site,

got the file down to 977 mb…which is great except when i bring it to roxio toast it still says that it exceeds the limit of 4.7 gb and that i need 7 gb’s !

am i missing something here ?

is there a better way to do this or is it impossible to get that much on one dvd ?
i’d really love to figure out the correct way to do this
any help would be greatly appreciated

    thanks alot

Toast does it’s own encoding. You need DVD Studio Pro.

Just use AC3 audio and Encode the MPEG-2 file at about a 3.5 Mbps bitrate and it should be fine. Stick with 720X480 too…no need to resize the video down.
