    I am using DVD Studio Pro 3 – on a G5 – running 10.3.9.

I cut a 21 minute movie in FCP 4.5. Used Compressor for export, 60 min. High Quality preset.

Brought the Mpeg2 into DVD Studio and burned a DVD. Upon inspection of the disc I noticed a shot the client ask to be cut was still in the movie. I cut the shot out – re-did everything I did before. When I went to burn another DVD I received an error – Video Bitrate Too High. The bitrate average is just below 6.5.

I’ve tried this a couple of times. Even tried the old “regenerate power” trick – same message.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanx – J

    Couple of things (probably others)…

    1) are you using VBR encoding? If so, did bitrates “spike” above the max
    2) how many audio tracks are you using? Combine them with the video and you might be over the top…

    Regards,
    George

Also check whether you accidentally changed the quality setting when you re-generated the file. I once received the same error when I re-generated an AVI at a setting of “Thousands of Colors” instead of the original setting of “Millions of Colors”

    Good Luck

    Dan
