On playback on a Mac OSX 10.3.4 in the free Apple DVD player, of a DVD Studio Pro 4 burned DVD-R (on a Ridata DVD-R blank media)…

EVERYTHING is blurry when the Apple DVD player viewer window is in full screen mode. Only when it is its small(est) mode does the text look crisp. When I say everything I mean the DVDSP generated text, high res photos and video.

All of these look fine in DVDSP and in the generator. So it must be the Burning (am I not changing a preference for a better resolution in DVDSP before I build and burn?) or is the blank media the problem?

Everything on the burned DVD-R works fine..it just looks crappy.

    ANY IDEAS?
    PLEASE HELP!

    thanks!

any DVD will look soft on a computer monitor as it uses square
pixels and the medium is non-square.

better to check it on a television and set top player first.

It should be sharp and clear.
