  Dvd adaptability for widescreen & 4×3

  Im currently rendering a widescreen video for a DVD that needs to play correctly on a Widescreen TV, a 4×3 TV, and a standard computer moniter.

  In doing so, will I need to render various versions of the video and have my DVD encoder encode a single DVD that includes all versions, and uses the right one as the system permits?

  Or do I render one version that should scale appropriately for any equipment scenario?

  Do one video.

  16×9 Anamorphic.

  It will:
  Letterbox automatically on a 4×3 TV
  Letterbox automatically on a 4×3 computer crt.
  Fill the screen of a 16×9 screen

  One last question, what if HD resolution comes into play?

  If HD comes into play it will need to be downconverted
  to Standard Definition as thats what current DVD spec allows.

  Because its HD and HD is 16×9, it will need to
  be anamorphic 16×9 in standard resolution.
