I was hoping there might be a way to control when buttons appear in a menu, in DVD Studio Pro 4.

I’ve created an animated intro movie for the menu, as well as a menu loop video. I tried first playing the intro in it’s own track, and then navigating to the main menu, but this leaves to long of a pause during playback. So, I’ve now combined the intro animation and the menu loop into one video piece, placed it as my main menu background, and have set the loop point to when the intro completes. My buttons are simple text pieces in DVDSP. Is there a way to control when these buttons appear on-screen (after the intro)?

    Thanks in advance!

You can control with the highlight layer appears. Anything else needs to be made as part of the motion menu video.

That’s what I was afraid of.

Thank you for you assistance, and for your quick response; much appreciated.
