I want my clients to be able to playback a DVD video file of some sort using a software DVD player. They’ll probably be distributing the DVD file over an intranet. Are there software players that can play back disc image files or are audio and video TS folder files the only option? What option is simple and gives good quality results?

    Thanks,
    Rod

to my knowledge you can only playback the folders
as far as the DVD spec is concerned.

you could make an .mpg file with the audio and video
that they could just run over a network though.

look into the vlc player. its free, multiplatform and works great.
