My cousin has a new sony viao and i’m trying to get him set up to be able to make dvds on it. He has a kodak digital camera that he uses to take video with as well. However the video files are .mov files and are not recognized by the software that he has on there to make DVD’s. the program in question is called “click to DVD” (piece of crap) it won’t convert the files. I hope this make sense i apologize in advance…any advice on some software that i convert the .mov files to quicktimes would be great. Thanks again.

Just so you know…when you do convert these files to MPEG-2 they are going to look absolutely terrible when you burn them to DVD and play them on a TV. Pretty much all digital cameras will record at 320X240 in a highly compressed quicktime format. IF you then blow that up to a 720X480 and compress it even more…it’s going to look really bad!
