    hello ppl

ok i have a DVD of a gig and iam soon recieving the audio track on DAT.

ok i was wondering how i could go about editing these formats so i could sync the music to the video. Just need to know if i can import ‘video_ts’ and ‘video_rm’ into premiere pro (my editing software) or whether i even need to?

would i need to convert the rm and ts files to another format to edit them and then export them back to DVD format. If so what sort of settings would i need for my project?

hope this is clear and not to longwinded, cheers ppl!

    whats in the video_rm folder?

Video_TS is always on DVD-Video discs. _rm I’m not sure.

Honestly the best thing to do, would be to make
a vhs dub of the content with a timecode window if possible,
then capture that and do the music synching that way.
This type of thing is called “sweetening”

then when your done, export your audio track and author another
dvd with the video streams content ripped from the original
disc, then lay down your new audio track as the audio and your done.

thats the best way to do it and maintain picture quality.
