Does anyone know of a high end ink jet or laser printer that prints both on DVD and regular paper? I would like one printer solution to print my DVD face surfaces and DVD inserts.

I use an Epson R-200. There are 2 or 3 other Epson’s that will do this as well. I think that Lexmark & Cannon may also have printers that will print on DVD as well as plain paper.

I have an R-200, but it scratches my disc and the tray is a pain. I would like something more professional with 4800 dpi or something. If I cant print both Inserts and on the face itself what options are available for printing directly on the face?

The epson’s are pretty much your only option at the moment. They have just disc printers like the Primera Signature Pro and Z2 but they won’t do inserts and are very expensive.
