  Pixel Aspect Ration Confusion

  OK – P.A.R. sometimes confuses the TAR out of me 🙂

  I am working on a 720×480 comp
  D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 1.21

  I built everything w/o the PAR correction button pressed.

  When I press the PAR Correction button, it stretches everything out and my text is no longer smooth.

  BUT – when I put my .mov file in DVDSP, it makes the track wide screen and all looks good.

  So, do you build with the button pressed, to where the screen is really wide, or non-pressed to where its slightly wide?

  Or does it matter?
