  • Adding ROM files on DVD video

I have looked through the Cow archives, on the internet and on the different program sites and have not seen this topic explained one way or another in any detail. I assume this is very simple to do, very complicated or not possible. Basically I would like to add a ROM content folder along with the Video_TS folder and Audio_TS folder then burn in Nero or Toast. I do not need any of this content to interact with the video. I just need to add a folder with additional content that can be retreived from the disc as distinct files. I could have sworn I have done this before but for the life of me I can not make it happen this time. First, is this possible? Second, how to do this with either of the programs mentioned. Thanks.

I realize some apps have specialized settings for this.

But to be honest I just create a rom folder and dump it in
the nero DVD project and it works.

as long as your video_ts folder is still red in nero
(properly formatted) and udf is used as the file system
    it should work.

    Hi,

In Adobe Encore DVD, you can add ROM content real simple.

after you have added all video, menus, etc. then click on the Disc tab and select Browse for the ROM content you would like to add and the burn the project to DVD

Thanks for the confirmation. After re-installing the Nero app it finally worked like you say.
