    Hello,
I shoot at a public access television station in Brooklyn New York. I’m using the Hitachi Z-HD6000 camera controlled by the Hitachi ru1000. The camera normally records an MTS file to an SD card in the studio . Since I’m shooting green screen I wanted to get a much higher quality file. I attached a Black Magic Hyperdeck shuttle directly to an out jack next to the one that feeds into the studio recorder. I have the Hyperdeck set for Uncompressed 10 Bit Quicktime. So my questions are as follows; Am I really getting 10 Bit Quicktime or a bloated MTS file? How do I know? If not, how can the camera settings be changed so I do record a higher quality? Thank you for reading this.
