  Precise Color Management Through On-Set Communication
  The wide-ranging visual capabilities of today’s digital cameras, monitors and postproduction equipment demand that the camera team develop a strong communication system to capture the creative intent of the director and director of photography. Two DP and DIT teams from recent high profile projects discuss how they worked with the director and other members of the camera crew to manage the color and look of the picture. Specific topics to be addressed include: the process of deciding how to use technology to create the look; evaluating footage on the set and applying color correction; preparing and evaluating dailies; and communicating decisions into visual effects and postproduction.
