  Consolidating Projects

  Due to different systems I’m working on in different locations for weeks apart, I have part of a project in AE3 and the other in AE4. The AE4 will be upgraded to AE5 soon, and I’m hoping to be able to consolidate the projects into one large AE5 project to finish it out. Is it possible to do this once all the files are on the AE5 computer? Copy and Paste from Project to Project? What’s the best way?

  Any help is most appreciated.

  Use the Collect files feature in for both the CS3 and CS4 projects then import the aep files from CS3 and CS4 into a CS5 project. This has the advantage that links to all media should be maintained.
