Shutter speed while in 50fps.
Hey guys, I’m planning to shoot a video clip at 50fps and slow mo it during post to about 30% speed. Other than 1/100 shutter speed, what other shutter speed would make the slow mo better?

You’ll probably want a higher shutter speed than that.
Calculate what the shutter speed (of the final finished shot) would have been if you were shooting real film, and use that as your starting point to find the needed shutter speed. Use whatever shutter speed would give you the equivalent of a 180° film shutter.
For example, (and assuming you are on a 24p timeline) if your clip is slowed enough to give you, say, an apparent original overcranked frame rate of 72fps, then shooting with your video camera at 1/144th of second (or the nearest setting you have to that) will yield the more “normal” slow-mo look.
