  AE OpenGL and exit snafus

  Hi all I have two questions in AE, first why are my renders running faster without OpenGL? I thought openGL renderer ought to make it faster? And secondly why do i get error messages when I exit from After effects? I’ve attached some images to show what I mean..

  Unless you have CS5, AE runs better without Open GL turned on – lots on this subject on the Adobe website.

  Some of us are having issues with it in CS5 too. There’s a thread going about it locking up the whole system.
