    Hi,

So i was shooting on a pretty tough location, 47 degrees C. Suddenly my Sony Z 7 goes _ Head Cleaning required.

I had previously seen errors of moisture on another camera, when there shouldnt have been a moisture error. So i turned off the Z 7 and turned it back on.. the result No warning and the camera allowed me to shoot.

Right after this we get to an amazing location and get all this great footage.

The tragedy of this all revealed itself only when i got back. The tape shows black, and only shows an image if i rewind or Fast forward.

Can anyone help.. or is this going to be one of those life lessons? 🙁

    Thanks.. fingers crossed

Did you play back in the camera, or another deck, or both? What difference was there, if any?

Playback on a Deck in Ffwd i could see the footage. havent tried the Cam yet.

Sony got back to me and have suggested i try a local certified sony repair shop.

got in touch with them, They say they will realign the head of the camera or deck till the image shows.. and then dump the footage .. and then realign back to it’s original position!!!

Dont know what to do now.. sounds a little Hokey!
