  Paint Brush Strokes?

  Hi,

  I’m trying to animate a fairly realistic looking paint brush stroke – pretty fast over 10 or so frames but struggling to get something I like.

  I’ve tried masking some real brush strokes I’ve made myself as well as using particles to generate a brush and then animating the emitter to make the stroke but have reached a bit of a dead end.

  Would love to hear any tips / advice from anyone who has tried the same thing?

  Try applying roughen edges when you do a mask reveal.
