Old broadcast camera rental
looking to rent a broadcast camera from the 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s. something they would have used to shoot the ed sullivan show or laugh-in, that type of classic studio camera.
does anyone know where i can find something like that?

Where are you? There’s at least one guy in California with quite an extensive antique broadcast gear collection, does it have to actuaslly work, or are you looking for just a prop?

I know a TV engineer named Chuck Ferris that has a collection of old broadcast gear, but I couldn’t find his contact into.

That’s better. I was spelling his name wrong! He’s a great guy. I used to work with him at ABC Net News in LA and learned a lot from him.
