Old broadcast camera rental
Posted by Sherwin Shilati on January 8, 2010 at 6:43 pmlooking to rent a broadcast camera from the 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s. something they would have used to shoot the ed sullivan show or laugh-in, that type of classic studio camera.
does anyone know where i can find something like that?
thank you,

January 8, 2010 at 8:34 pmWhere are you? There’s at least one guy in California with quite an extensive antique broadcast gear collection, does it have to actuaslly work, or are you looking for just a prop?

January 13, 2010 at 11:37 pmThat’s better. I was spelling his name wrong! He’s a great guy. I used to work with him at ABC Net News in LA and learned a lot from him.
