    With switch to digital and tapeless workflows, I reccomend the following changes to our terminology:

    Filming = Compiling
    Speed = Write data
    Print that = Archive that
    Dailies = Instantenouses
    Video tap = Lets give a monitor to the kraft services so they can tell us what they think about our lighting.
    Bad Directing = DIT screwed up my scene
    Producer = Jerk

    Hmmm. I’ll use that one. The term “filming” is never used on our jobs. We don’t use film and we don’t film anything. I’ve been saying “capture” for quite a while. That term applies to any form of acquisition. Now that we’re using card based cameras, the term fits even better.
