  Wire Effects? Where to Start?

  We’re looking to start using wire effects for some videos, but we’re not sure where to start. We basically want to use them for flying and related effects.

  What is the actual term to describe this? Also – what sort of equipment should I be looking for?

  One of the biggies is CableCam, but I believe that they don’t sell their product, they rent themselves out. I went to NAB in Vegas last year and found another company called Noblet Enterprises, who have the Noblet Camera Trolley, and I believe it’s for sale, not rent.
