    Hi there

    Has anyone ever shot through one of those clear plastic speech prompter screens. ie poor mans auto cue/tele prompter.Head and shoulders shot .

    Thanks for your reply.My question … not sure I put the right details….this isnt a video telepromter set up,but one of those clear screens,for speeches from lecterns.usualy there is one either side Iam told.
    Anyway these people want to use ONE of those screens as a teleprompter ie infront of the camera lens.
    So Iam wondering will this work.I can make the room dark,will light the subject,and have black drape for myself.
    So my question was 1. Has anyone even done this 2 If so any advise.tips etc.

    I,ve used a real made for video telepromter/atuo cue loads of times,but not one of these screens.

    Put a black cloth over the glass, between it and the camera as in a regular prompter rig. Otherwise it will reflect whatever is on the ceiling back into the lens.
