  • Capturing multiple channels simultaneously?

    Hey all,

I have a few bullet cameras that I would like to capture from. They are 580 line cameras with an RCA output.
Is it possible to capture these at DVD quality simultaneously?
The best 4 channel capture cards I can find only do 320×240 and 640×480. I’m looking for 720×480 for DVD right?
Am I asking for too much from current hardware that’s available? I’m willing to drop to 2 or 3 simultaneous captures if need be, but my requirement is 1 single PCI card.
    What are my options?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

You need to look into some high quality security systems. Panasonic happens to have several that, I believe, fall into the specs that you need. They record 120 frames per second from 4 inputs.

    Have fun!
