  Recelling Anton Bauer batteries.

  We are needing to replace our Anton Bauer Proppac 14 batteries.

  Pricing has taken us aback.

  Has anyone had their Anton’s recelled?

  I spoke to Anton Bauer recently and they have a policy whereby they do not recell batteries.

  There are however third party vendors who will recell Pro Pak 14’s but from my experience I have not been pleased with the results.

  I also have been disappointed with the Hytron 100’s overall.

  Yes, I think Anton Bauer has become complacent having such a large portion of the market but some of the new competition may force improvements and pricing.
  I have become increasingly interested in the Switronix batteries from reading user comments. I have contacted Switronix about demoing 2 130s and a dual charger. If what I have read is accurate we could run on battery power an entire day with that system.

  Any Switronix experience?

  Try Victory Battery in Chatsworth, Ca. They have a method of opening up the AB package and resealing it with fresh high quality cells. ask for Jerry!
