I’m doing compositing in C4D and i need to make sure the footage comes out of C4D with a motion interlace on it. Is there anyway to do that in AE? to match the original interlace?

I want to interlace it so it looks more — home made — like those Ratchet and Clank (is that spelled right) commercials where a bunch of teens played with off beat weapons and turned peole into sheep and blew up houses

when you set all your output settings in C4d their is an option for interlacing (NONE, EVEN, ODD). Make sure the frame rate is set correctly in your project settings AND your output settings. I think the shortcut is ctrl-D to change the project settings. Interpret it the same in AE. That’s it.

If you are compositing in AE try using the multipass rendering. It is a big help.
