  Tutorial for Adding A Trail to Fast-Flying Object?

  I am looking for a tutorial on how to add a “trail” to a flying object; a whitish streak, like the kind that follows a jet in the sky.

  The object will be appearing to fly a lot faster than a jet. (It’s supposed to look like someone going around the Earth very fast, like the way that Christopher Reeve did at the end of the first Superman movie.)

  If anyone can recommened a tutorial on how to do this, I’d be appreciative.

  Try this site https://www.xtreme-is-back.com/tutorials_speffects.html they have a tutorial on traking and attatching a particle effect – smoke – to a descending parachute.

  You might also try using Effect-Time-Echo, and playing around a bit.
