  Audio File Problem

  Hello. Someone please help!
  When I import an audio file into after effects, put it in the timeline and play it, I don’t hear anything. Does anyone know what’s going on?

  make sure that audio is enabled for previews… i think it is in composition>previews, there should be a check mark by audio.

  also, if you have a video capture card (like a decklink or aja card), then you may need to see what audio output device ae is using. look in the ae preferences for audio devices and choose what is appropriate.
