There’s a Lighting Workshop and Digital Symposium this Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24, at 2 Emerson Lane in Secaucus, New Jersey (minutes from NYC). ICG is producing, and it’s co-sponsored by IATSE Local 52 and ARRI/CSC.

The event is two days of master classes, presentations, panel discussions and show floor demonstrations about the art, craft and technology of lighting; cinematography; and on-set and postproduction workflows. There will be master classes from Tom Stern, ASC, Rodrigo Prieto, ASC and Reed Morano and sessions about ACES, lab-in-a-box and on-set dailies, among other topics. The show floor will feature approximately 30 camera, lighting, film negative, software, postproduction and accessory vendors and will focus on education.

For Local 52 and 600 Members, it’s free (with a refundable $50.00 deposit). For non-members, the cost is $100.00 and students, $25.00. Breakfast, lunch and Saturday dinner included (Bavarian BBQ & Beer – Hosted by Arri/CSC).

For more details and to attend–reservations are required–contact Robbie Moore at Local 600, NYC, 212 647-7300.
