  How to export a Comp from a Project to Another in AE.

  Hi!!! I just want to export a specific composition and put it in another project (I’m working this way because I have two machines).
  If I “Save As” the project in one computer and open it with the other one, I’ll not be able to use one specific Comp to include it in my project of computer number 2.

  Is there any solution to this problem?

  I hope you guys cans understand my issue.

  In AE, you don’t export a comp, you import the project that contains it. Import the entire AEP file, then delete everything from that but the comp you want.

  (note: the two projects are not linked after import)

  Yes, but do it as I advised. Import the AEP that uses comp A, then delete the stuff you’ve imported that you don’t need. Or make a copy of the AEP that uses comp A, and use “collect files” to collect the files for Comp A into a new, leaner AEP. Import that into Project B.

  You can’t do this:
  – link to a specific comp in a specific project
  – link to a project
  – import a comp without importing the whole project that contains it
