  Red R3D files and Avid workflow

  Hi,

  We just shot a short on the Red camera and have a bunch of folders with R3D files. We would like to edit in Avid in 4K and tried to link using AMA. It didn’t work.

  Reading around the forum for instructions hans’t yielded a workflow that work. Does anyone have a simple way to connect and edit 4K via AMA using Avid with Red Files.

  Also, can we export this 4K timeline to a 4K Quicktime?

  Short of that, is there a way to import these files in 4K and edit?

  What version of Avid are you running? Did you install the RED AMA plugins?
