  Composite Modes in Avid/Boris Red

  I need to use the blending/transfer modes available in Boris Red.
  PNG logo up top, video underneath.
  When I select the graphic and select the right composite mode, it of course
  affects the whole layer, not just the PNG I brought in.

  I am guessing I need to draw some sort of mask in Red,
  is that the approach?

  Advice most welcome, thanks.

  Never done it with Boris Red, but is there a button/switch that says “apply as title” or “apply to title”?

  Turns out to be a menu item, Add Media/Image.
  Then I applied comp mode to that, affecting only the graphic.

  Never used Red for compositing before!
