  reverse motion + trim to fill

  I am not able to reverse a clip and put trim to fill on it. If I first reverse the motion and than alt drag trim to fill on it the motion will get played in the right direction again. I’ve tried a timewarp and tried to drag the END POINT to the start hoping that would switch it but that doesn’t work. If this was Premiere and I were having such trouble I would put a reverse on it and then nest the clip and then put the trim to fill on it.

  So how do I do this?

  And yes I have used the search feature, found old threads but not really a solution or I am just too stupid to get it so I didn’t feel like bumping old threads. Thanks a lot for your consideration and help.

  Why would or should I export it and reimport it? That sounds like too much work. I applied my reverse to it and then did a video mixdown.
