  Quarantined MXF files

  Is there a way to rescue quarantined MXF files? After a power outage my C-drive crashed. My project files and MediaFiles live on an external drive so I moved to a different Avid PC. First it gave me the “Unable to open file “project name”. File does not contain a valid Avid domain header.” When I created another project file and opened the bins of the previous project I noticed MediaFiles missing. When I went tho the MediaFile folder and and forced the rescanning it threw a lot of MediaFiles in a quarantine folder as not being recognized as MXF files (which they clearly were before the crash).

  I work on a PC Windows 7 pro, on an Avid MC 7.02 through a Mojo DX.
