  Exporting has a sound problem!!

  Exports sound scratchy.

  I am using MC 4.0.5 and finishing up a long project. I am exporting the films with Quicktime 3 on my AVID. I always do a mix down of audio files and they sound great. Simply mixing dialogue, narration and music. It all sounds fine on the AVID. However, whenever I do an export, the sound is scratchy — I don’t know how else to describe it. Any ideas what is going wrong? And what I should do to help??

  Are you exporting WAV or other file type?

  Make sure you aren’t set to export 8 bit audio. You should be 16 or 14 (or higher…but those are the most common).
