  Media Composer 8.8.0, can’t move sequence from one bin to another

  I just upgraded from 6.5.4 to 8.8.0. I was pleased that my project still ran well, and everything seems good, except…..

  I tried to move a sequence from one bin to another and it wouldn’t do it. I tried option-dragging it to see if it would at least copy, and no dice.

  I’m running it on a 2012 Mac Pro tower, with Sierra OS.

  Anyone else have this problem?

  I never move projects up versions.
  Always create a fresh new project ( Same name)
  Then copy bins across from the old project to the new.
  And even more important create a new user profile.
  Pretty sure that will cure your issue.

  can you save your original sequence?

  Can you create a new sequence?

  Wondering if write permissions got buggered up somewhere along the way.
