  Import Iphone clips to Avid

  Hi guys,

  I am trying to import Iphone-files to AVID, but the file format is not supported.

  I tried to use two converters but still with no luck. Is there anybody here, who can tell me which converter to use or any other good advice?

  What version of Avid? How are you attempting to Import?

  You can try converting it to ProRes or DNxHD with Compressor or EditReady. EditReady is good to have as that is a solution for many camera formats. These are Mac apps.

  Thank you very much for your response. I am just an amateur kind of new at this ?

  I think the version is 8.4.2 can that be right.

  I am afraid I am on a PC, windows. Any help for this?

  LINK to the footage, manually selecting the QUICKTIME AMA plugin, and then transcode it. Can your machine do that?

  Thank you very much for your help. In the meantime, someone has helped me find a converter that could do the job for me. I thank you very much for your kind help. Its nice people a friendly to help a new guy at this ?
