  Avid FX on 8.5.3

  We had Avid FX running here on 8.4.2.
  We went back and forth between that and 8.6.3, 8.6.1 and now 8.5.3.
  Avid tech support remoted in, and along the way Avid FX went away.
  We had conflicts with some plugins and some other issues.

  Anyway, now 8.5.3 is running fine, but I really want Avid FX back,
  we lost some customized transitions.

  We saved the folders we removed, so I can always restore those.
  Is that the way to go, or is it best to just download again on the Avid site?
  I have the download but thought best to seek some expert advice
  on the best way to proceed.

  Guidance?

  Download it again and reinstall.
