  Avid subtitles ruining the picture??

  Hello, I have encountered a very frustrating problem. When I try exporting my project which also contains subtitles made with SubCap, the subtitles affect the picture. Every time an individual subtitle is displayed, the whole picture becomes a bit brighter, and when the subtitle dissapears, picture goes back to normal.

  What is this all about? How do I fix this??

  Wait…this happened to me. How did I fix this? Crud… Trash MC State…possibly. Restart. Possibly redo the render. Also, check your render settings…what are they set to? Match your media codec? meaning if you have DNxHD 175, but render to DNx115…that might do something.

  Thank you so much for your reply. I tried exporting in DNxHD 185, which ended up in the problem with subtitles. Now I exported with Same as source option and the problem is gone. I will further investigate this issue when I have the time.
