  Grouped Clips changed back to original names

  I’m an AE and my Editor opened an Act and half of it was offline. I relinked the clips that were offline, but they didn’t come back online in her sequence so I relinked her sequence. They came back online, but the reverted to their original names. So, clips that were 9-3a Grp changed back to B044C009_16 etc…….. Is there any way to get these clips in the sequence to show the Grouped names again?

  Try opening the bin the group clip resides in. Sometimes Avid will regain its marbles if you do that.

  Make sure the groups used in a sequence are still multicam groups and not collapsed to a single clip due to this problem occurring.
