  Failed ProRes Fast Import – QT AudioReader?

  Hi everyone,

  I’m trying to Fast Import Pro Res clips into a new Avid project. I matched the project settings to the ProRes clips (1080P/23.98) and set my import options to Apple ProRes MXF (the ProRes clips are AppleProRes42).

  This is what I get when I try to import:

  QTAudioReader::ExecuteRequest()
  CONSISTENCY CHECK FAILURE I?I : [2147549183]

  I checked the project audio settings versus the clips audio.
  CLIP: 48 KHz, 32 bit
  PROJECT: 48 KHZ, 24 (that’s the highest it can go).

  Any suggestions?

  My system:

  MAC OS X 10.11.3

  Avid Media Composer 8.5.0
