  MC 7.0.3 to 8.5 question

  I’ve been waiting to upgrade our 2014 MacPro from Mac OS 10.9.5 to the current Mac OS because MC 7.0.3 won’t run on it.
  Now I want to upgrade both the AVID to MC 8.5 with the subscription and the MacPro to the latest Mac OS.

  In what order would you do this? Would I upgrade the OS first or upgrade the AVID first?
  I’m thinking the AVID to 8.5 first, then the OS, but not sure.

  Our AVID outputs through the Blackmagic 4K. Anyone know of any trouble with using the current version of MC with it?

  Any help would be appreciated.

  OS first, then Avid. And I too have the latest version and the BMD Extreme 4K…it works fine.
