  Avid not seeing MXFs

  Hi there-

  I’ve been sent a project from another post house in another country. They have sent the project and the MXF files- however when I open it in Avid, she won’t reconnect to them. Media tool finds nothing, and trashing the databases hasn’t worked either. Thoughts on how to get it up and running? Below is an image to show the file structure.

  If that “Avid MediaFiles_” folder is at the root of the drive, remove the underscore at the end of it.

  If it’s not at the root of the drive, put it there then remove the underscore at the end of it. It should scan then.
