Audio Broadcast Safe without iZotope?
Hi. I need to make audio on a film broadcast compliant for EU broadcasters (-23 LUFS, -1db peak). I know there’s a simple setting to do that with iZotope Insight, but my trial version has expired and I haven’t got iZotope installed. Is there any other way to edit my audio in Media Composer to comply with these specs? Thanks!

Grimm Audio has LevelNorm (not expensive), which will normalize your mix to EBU R128 (or A/85). Orban has a free meter that does R128. Many options out there.

We use Nugen and Izotope. Both really good. But lots of other free or cheap options. Take care a few we looked at had dodgy virus issues.

Not keen on auto correction tools. You get your mux how you want it and let an auto process “adjust” it.
Better to have a tool that measures and make the required adjustments the best way that suits the mix.Pat Horridge
