    Hi.

Used Time Machine to set up new imac and am not able to use Media Composer on new machine. Upon opening application, im prompted to activate the product but it won’t accept my registration info – prompts an error that states “101 activation failed”.

Im trying to insall Media Composer 7.0 on a mac running 10.10.3

Any idea what the problem might be? Your input is greatly apprecaited!

Media Composer 7 isn’t supported on that OS. Currently no version is supported. MC 8.3 might work…it might not. But MC7…Hmmm, a new version of that just came out. Looks like it’s supported on 10.10.2…MIGHT work on 10.10.3…although not officially supported.

That’s the problem with getting a new computer to run your old software…the new computer runs the latest OS and the old software isn’t compatible with that
