I’m working on a project that involves hand drawn elements that will appear to be drawn in real time.

I was thinking of doing a screen capture to get the video of drawing the hand drawn assets in time, then timelapsing the footage, but there will be a pointer/mouse curser moving around in the frame. Is there a standard technique to achieve this effect?

    Most appreciated,
    Eric

I don’t know what app you want to use for screen capture, but most of them have the option to turn the cursor off. I used this technique several times when I wanted to reproduce some hand movements.
I am a Mac user and I capture screen via ISHOWU. It allows you to turn the cursor off.
