    Hi,

I’ve been given a project and an Avid MediaFiles folder. The Avid MediaFiles didn’t link up with the project, so I trashed the database files and emptied trash, but database files are not being recreated. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Many thanks.

Is the Avid MediaFiles folder on the root level of the hard drive? Meaning HARD DRIVE>AVID MEDIAFILES. It can’t be inside any other folder.

Do the numbered folders have names after them? Meaning “1-ProjectName” or something like that? They need to only be numbers if the databases are going to need rebuilding.

Thanks for the reply, Shane. I figured it out…..no MXF folder! For some reason, I didn’t think to check that!
