  Sequence Editing using AMA’s and re-linking to DNx175s

  Hello,

  A little new to Avid and still getting a grip on everything.

  I currently have a sequence that was editing using AMA files and I would like to replace the AMA’s w/ DNx175 files that I have encoded. I’m hoping that I can just right click on the AMA edited sequence in the bin and re-link to the DNx files, but wanted to get some advice since I’m still new to Avid.

  Im using Media Composer 8 on Yosemite.

  The first thing to try is right-clicking your sequence, and select “Relink”. Towards the bottom of the overly complex dialog box, there is a selection by which you can select a target resolution, in your case 175. See if that does the trick, if not, then we can move on to the next method.
